Nice read Ty!

This series will be all about neutral zone coverage and body contact.
B's have to be aware who's the ice at all times, and interfering with stretch pass!
If B's can create havoc in the Pens end just as they did against NY, Vocoun will have difficulty picking up any shots thrown his way.
It's all about puck pursuit!

0-3 season series is moot here ( which were very close one goal games ) , With the Pens playing all out during the 48 ( quite a few are playing hurt ) I wonder how much they can withstand an four line buzzsaw approach the B's have implemented during this last series!

The Bruins have been guilty of playing down when against clubs they should beat, But also, They play up to elite teams! Their record against these Clubs isn't so bad.

Five or six game series, they're both momentum Teams!

Bruins were the better team, no doubt, but it killed us our injuries forced us to have to put Roman Hamrlik in the lineup.

Lucic put the final nail in the NYR coffin when he concussed Stralman unfortunately.

According to the Daily News, Anton Stralman is dealing with some facial fractures and a shoulder issue, likely the result of the hit he took from Milan Lucic in game three of the Bruins/Rangers series.

The Bruins were by far better and the only reason the series was close was because of Lunqvist. It's an easy sweep without him. I don't really think that Stralman getting hurt resulted in a loss for the rangers

no, but it killed us yesterday, because Roman Hamrlik should never have seen the light of day in another NHL game and was the #1 reason yesterday didn't get to overtime.

We were down by one goal with the goalie pulled at the end, and Hamrlik single handidly gave the Bruins 2nd goal to them.

Bruins in 5. Pens are far from as good as they think they are. Vokoun falters, and the MUCH more balanced team wins this series. Someone please break Cooke's neck plskthx.

Now it's time for Tortorella to kiss everyone else's ass! Overated coach that barely got this Allstar team into the second round. The team stopped playing for him and he blamed everyone else. Time to move on. Good series Boston and I hope you guys knock the snot out of the Penguins!

Should be a fun third round.

Unfortunately it means that Ty and I can no longer tweet each other about how good the Boston music scene is and how poopty the Edmonton music scene is. Well at least for this round.

So I guess you're saying the legendary Anton Stralman doesn't change the outlook of your last series?

I don't keep that close a tab on other teams, perhaps he is a big part of their team, but for a team like the Bruins who are a defence first team it's tough to be down three regular defencemen. I mean that's half our defence corps. He's complaining about missing one, and a forward, I think we win that argument as well.

Awww caps fans are so cute. Always rooting for another team to do what they can't.

Remember that time ovi led his team to that huge game 7 win? Said no one ever...

Rags wouldn't have even won one game if not for spectacular brain farts from Rask and Chara, they were never in this series, if anything, kinda shows just how bad the Caps are. But Ny played hard and clean, I appreciate that, especially when I can picture the whine fest that's part of Sids game.

The Bruins are in for a tougher series against the Penguins. The one thing that the Rangers can't do, the Penguins do in bunches. Just look at the 47 goals through 11 games.

well, the Rangers were missing Marc Staal and Anton Stralman yesterday.

If the Bruins were missing Zdeno Chara and not Wade Redden on the blueline, I am sure they'd mention to everyone about a zillion times.

tip of the hat to the rags and king henry. impressed dorsett fought thornton and the humility from torts.

voukon has been good against the b's but there's no way he can stand on his head like king henry did.

b's have a pp now with krug. interesting to hear KPD say the kid has a better one timer than either orr or bourque (ray not chris).

so just to be clear Stralman = Chara gotcha

and of course the Bruins had no injuries on the blue line either

the difference is our call ups outplayed yours this time around.

Just tell me if the Bruins played an entire series without Chara, nobody in the organization, media or the fans would mention it. Please tell me that[/img]

I'd like to tell you that, but I'd be lieing

I understand where you're coming from, and I'm not denying that you were missing some key guys, but it's not like the Bruins were a rested healthy bunch either. You guys try and make it sound like we had all our regulars at 100% and beat up a Rangers squad that was drained and badly maimed.

It was a tight series that came as advertised I think, I admit I expected Hank to be able to hold us off as he has for years now, but in the end the deeper team won. You can't really blame Lundqvist, he did look human, but still stood on his head for long stretches in this series.
